The personal information you give to Vermét Design Oy (3144890-8), hereafter (“Vermét”) will only be used for the purpose for which you have given consent to (for example fulfilling online orders or online marketing). We will not use the personal information for any other purpose than what you have given consent to. At any time, you can end the subscription for our newsletter, and you have the right to request to know what personal data has been collected and/or for your information to be erased from our register. What information do we collect?
We collect personal information only with User consent of the www.vermetdesign.com website (“Site”). We get the information when an order is placed, or an individual subscribes to our newsletter.
Vermét collects personal data and non-personal data when our website vermetdesign.com or other Vermét online services are used. Data (personal and non-personal) is collected when Users, visit our website and scroll through the pages, place an order or use other functions in our online store, contact our customer service, or subscribe to our newsletter.
When you place an order or visit our website, we automatically collect data about your visit. Part of this data may be classified as personal data and part non-personal data. The non-personal data is collected so that we can improve our services.

We need personal data for handling orders for delivery and customer communications regarding such orders (e.g. order verifications, production and delivery tracking information). Furthermore, the data will be used for invoicing and debt collection, for handling possible complaints and contacting you in case of any problems concerning your order. Regarding payment data, we store only the method of payment and the price in case of returns. We do not share this information with outside parties except to the extent necessary to provide the service.
If you have created a customer account on our website, we will use your personal data to administer the account in order for you to be able to see your purchase history, create wish lists and save your shopping cart. Address details are also stored for later orders. They can be amended or deleted by the customer or Vermét.

Personal details are also handled to send newsletters, or when a person participates in a competition, survey or other marketing activities.

How long we retain your data

If you sign up to the Vermét newsletter we will keep your details for as long as you remain a subscriber. You can opt out of marketing or advertising emails by utilizing the “unsubscribe” link in marketing or advertising emails you receive from Vermét.
For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

Your personal data may be disclosed within the scope of the applicable law to Vermét Design Oy’s co-operation partners to the extent that it is necessary in order to carry out the customer’s assignment.
We may share generic aggregated demographic information not linked to any personal identification information regarding visitors and users with our business partners for the purposes outlined above.
Third parties may be personal data processors, and are only third parties accepted by Vermét, who enable us to perform assignments and further improve the customer experience.
